It’s like a thief slipped into my vision
Stole all the colour and locked me in a prison
Stuck in this room I got no one to listen
My soul charcoal I can’t see the prism
The rhythm’s gone astray on this day I’m afraid
My beloveds gone away to the fray I’m betrayed
To recover is to say can this heart ricochet
Cause the plays maintained when the piper isn’t paid
I have prayed for your safe return
Like the blossoms in the spring For the light they yearn
But this love just burns while this stomach slowly churns
Will I ever learn will I ever earn nights free from concern
This ring gives no relief from my colour thief
Face to face I wish to meet but this cylces on repeat
On repeat I lay myself at your feet
A crow swallowed the sun and sings me to sleep

This is an amazing example of the rich, organic, melodic possibilites of electronic music. One of the few artists I'm putting on the level of Emancipator in the genre. meatnordrink

Tanya Tagaq got me drooling for throat-singing in just about any form, and this Piqsiq in particular gave me exactly what I wanted. Such beautiful voices. Richard Weems

Great instrumental album. The sitar sounds like that it bears a lot of mysteries and ancient tales. I’ve searched a lot to find such music in a more modern style of production and satisfied that I found this. However, the trap-style beats In some songs start to sound repetitive to me after a few listens. (still a good tool to grab younger generations attention to such traditional music). I totally recommend this album for meditation purposes... worked for me! postchaos11
